Gardaí from Tallaght are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a woman's body in the Rathfarnham area of Dublin today.
The body, believed to be that of a woman in her 50s, was found in Loreto Park, Rathfarnham, this morning.
Gardaí were called to the scene by Dublin Fire Brigade shortly before 10am.
The State Pathologist has been notified, and a post mortem is being performed in Tallaght hospital.
No arrests have yet been made.
