Glasgow - The British Prime Minister, Mr Blair, led tributes to the former Scottish miners' president, Mr Mick McGahey (74), who died on Saturday after a long illness. Mr McGahey first hit the headlines as "Mick the Red" during the bitter miners' pay struggle in 1974.
