At the request of his family, the body of a young motorcyclist killed last week was given an escort by bikers along the motorway from Belfast to Craigavon.

Wayne Hamilton died following a crash on the Isle of Man last Monday during the Junior Manx Grand Prix.

The 20-year-old, from Annaghmore near Portadown, was in third position with one lap remaining when he crashed.

He was the second northern rider to die last week. Adrian McFarland (41) from Plumbridge near Omagh was killed in a crash in the Czech Republic on Saturday.

Funeral details for both are to be announced this week.
