LONDON - Mourners at the funeral of Ms Iris Bentley yesterday were urged to complete her fight to win a full pardon for her brother Derek, hanged in 1953 for the murder of a policeman.
Ms Bentley campaigned tirelessly for a pardon until her death from cancer, aged 65, on January 22nd. Speakers at the service in Collier's Wood said her fight had changed the face of British justice.
