Two Belfast men were in court yesterday on a £150,000 blackmail charge

Two Belfast men were in court yesterday on a £150,000 blackmail charge. Mr Daniel Annesley (40), of Mervue Street, and Mr William Thomas Seenan (35), of Alliance Road, were accused of demanding the money with menaces from an RUC officer who posed as a company director. Mr Seenan was also charged with membership of the UDA. They were remanded in custody until July 17th.
