Bayern Munich coach Ottmar Hitzfeld has ruled out transfers for French defender Bixente Lizarazu and Brazilian striker Giovane Elber.
"There is no point in talking about them leaving. I do not sell key players," he told the Bildnewspaper. Press reports out of Britain said that Lizarau could be on his way to Manchester United.
Hitzfeld also confirmed he wanted the newly crowned European champions to buy young German stars Sebastian Deisler from Hertha Berlin and Michael Ballack from Bayern Leverkusen.
"I would like to have them for next season if possible, and if not then for 2002," said Hitzfeld.
