AIB Bank and the Irish Farmers' Association have arranged a special loan for dairy farmers who have over produced milk this year and face superlevy fines of £14 million.

Mr Lorcan Blake, head of agricultural policy at AIB, said farmers could avail of a special one year loan at 7.25 per cent, 2.5 per cent below the standard rate.
