Irish security software specialist Baltimore Technologies has entered into an alliance with Motorola offering enhanced security applications to mobile phone operators.
Based on Motorola's WAP technology, the companies will jointly offer so-called "short-lived" digital certificates to mobile phone operators and service providers, ensuring that information passed to the end user is secured with an updated trust certificate, said Motorola.
