QUETTA - A violent earthquake jolted Pakistan's south western province of Baluchistan early today killing at least eight people and injuring many others, officials said.
An official at a seismic centre in the north western town of Peshawar described the earthquake as "violent" and said it could be more than 6.5 on the Richter scale.
