German police said that two Celtic fans arrested after breaking into a bakery come from Dublin.
The two appeared in a German court yesterday after they were caught breaking into a bakery for a late-night feast.
The alarm was raised in Munich city centre around 3.20 a.m. on Thursday, just hours after Celtic were beaten in their Champions League match with Bayern.
Two fans, both from Dublin, broke off from their journey home to sample the delights of a local delicatessen, even though it was not open. A Munich police spokesman said: "It seems your supporters were hungry after the game and decided to break into the bakery for something to eat."
