Gardaí investigating the murder of a woman at her home in Dundalk, Co Louth, have made an arrest.
The man was arrested this evening and is being held at Dundalk Garda station.
Jacqueline McDonagh, a mother of three, was found at her rented home in College Manor, Dundalk, early yesterday morning.
She had sustained serious head wounds and other trauma injuries to her body consistent with having been beaten.
