New York - A Palestinian immigrant was found guilty yesterday of planning to bomb a busy New York City subway station last summer, but a jury acquitted his accused co-conspirator of involvement in the plot.
As the guilty verdict was read in Brooklyn federal court, Gazi Abu Mezer, the man convicted of conspiring to bomb one of Brooklyn's biggest subway stations, stood up and shouted protests.
