Luanda - Angolan government officials said yesterday that 215 bodies have so far been recovered from the scene of an attack which took place on Wednesday night near the diamond mining town of Cafunfo in Lunda Norte province.

"So far 215 bodies have been located," Governor Gomes Mayatoof told national radio. "It will be a few days before we have a final death toll," he said.
