Madrid - A Spanish policeman killed by a bomb in his car was buried yesterday, provoking fresh anger at the Basque separatist guerrilla group ETA, which was blamed for the attack. Daniel Villar Enciso (39), a member of the national police force, was buried in his widow's hometown of Orgaz, near Toledo.

The policeman was killed on Friday night outside his home in the Basque town of Basauri when a bomb planted under the seat of his car exploded. It was the first killing blamed on ETA since the group outraged Spain with its kidnapping and execution in July of Basque municipal politician, Mr Miguel Angel Blanco.
