The Minister for Public Enterprise, Ms O'Rourke, is to meet the board of Knock Airport to discuss Ryanair's threat to stop using the airport from mid-January.
Ryanair has warned that it will pull out on January 17th unless the airport abandons plans for a £6 passenger charge.
Ms Dana Rosemary Scallon MEP has offered herself as an intermediary in the dispute.
