Almost 3,000 Aer Lingus clerical and ground operatives have voted by more than nine to one to accept the terms of a "catch-up" worth between £300 and £1,500 extra a year to compensate them for extra concessions made to cabin crew in February.
A SIPTU branch secretary, Mr Owen Reidy, said the decision to pursue the claim and the staff response to the Labour Court offer "vindicated the union's stand".
