Alcoholics Anonymous is holding its Golden Jubilee All Ireland Convention in Killarney, Co Kerry, this weekend. The association was formed by a Roscommon man Conor F, who emigrated to the United States organised the first "closed" meeting of AA in Europe in 1946 during a visit home.
