SEOUL - The World Foods Programme (WFP) yesterday launched an international appeal for $95 million to feed children in North Korea. Ms Catherine Bertini, WFP executive director, said most North Koreans were surviving on 3 1/2 ounces of rice or maize per day and supplemented their diets with leaves or roots.
