A seventh person has died of bullet wounds sustained in the shooting yesterday at a Chinese restaurant in northern Germany.

Autopsies are to be carried out later in the day on the bodies of three women and three men found in the Lin Yue restaurant in Sittensen.

The victims' identities have not yet been released. Police said the husband of an employee at the restaurant found the bodies when he went to pick her up early on Monday morning.

The woman was among the victims.

A motive for the murders has not been confirmed, but police believe gang warfare among Chinese Triads may have been involved.

A married couple who owned the restaurant was among the victims. Their two-year-old daughter who was in the building was not hurt.
