Bordeaux - More than 200 dolphins have been found dead on France's Atlantic coast since the start of the week, apparently after being caught in the nets of trawlers, experts said yesterday.
Many of the animals had serious damage to their back and side flippers, or deep wounds on their beaks, according to Ms Anne Collet of the Sea Mammal Research Centre at La Rochelle.
