East Timor is to benefit from a £1 million package of aid from Ireland, the Department of Foreign Affairs has announced. The package includes £400,000 in support for United Nations programmes in human rights and electoral support, £155,000 for the renovation of a primary school by Goal, and £200,000 in direct support from Ireland Aid.
