Mogadishu - At least 17 people were killed in clan fighting in southern Somalia and the self-declared Somaliland Republic in the north of the Horn of Africa country, residents said yesterday.
Ten people were killed when rival clans who had a land dispute fought with light weapons in Erigabo, in the eastern region of Somaliland, on Saturday, the residents said.
