London - Ten men who were sexually abused by a priest at a children's home as long as 42 years ago are suing the Catholic Church.
Three of the victims, who are brothers, will serve a writ for damages later this week. The remaining seven will launch a second action once the first is successfully under way.
The claims relate to mental and physical abuse suffered at the hands of Eric Taylor at the Father Hudson's Home in Coleshill, Warwickshire, between 1957 and 1965. Taylor was jailed for seven years in 1998 after being convicted at Warwick Crown Court of 18 sex offences against boys.
