What to wear in the air

Think of glamorous air travel and the scene in the movie Catch Me If You Canwith Leonardo di Caprio striding through the airport with a bevy of air hostesses comes to mind. That era may be long gone, but plenty of us still like to make an impression when we fly. The Irish Timesspent a day at Dublin airport hunting down the snappiest of travel dressers.

What are you going to do here?Seeing a friend and helping him make a documentary on family history

What have you packed to wear?Lots of layers! It's colder here than Paris so hopefully I'll still get to wear fun stuff like these leggings. They're by a new Australian designer called Black Milk.

Do you have a specific travel outfit and why?I layer a lot for travel and have even added since getting off the plane. I shaved my head recently so have been accessorising a lot and always wear this hat, which I got in Austria, when I fly. It keeps me warm and is really easy for travelling. These hiking boots are the heaviest things I own so always wear them flying too

What have you packed to wear?Lots! My husband and I have one big suitcase between us but he's a very light packer so most of it is mine. I love fashion and have an outfit planned for every day of the holiday

Do you have a specific travel outfit and why?On long flights I'd wear loose jeans and ballerina shoes but I always make an effort to look nice. You never know who you'll meet at the airport and I haven't got a ring on it yet!

What did you pack to wear?We only packed two outfits each as thought we'd buy a lot here but that didn't happen. The clothes were too expensive and the materials weren't good for the prices being charged
