On Thursday, Aisling Ahern was named as winner of Who Wants to be a Milliner?, stylist Brendan Courtney’s millinery competition, judged by Courtney and Philip Treacy. Ahern, pictured left wearing her own creation, was picked from a group of five finalists on Ladies’ Day at the Dublin Horse Show. She was also winner of “best hat” at the Galway Races this year, and won milliner of the year at the Fashion Innovation Awards. The other four finalists were Fiona Mangan, Carol Kennelly, Jennifer Wrynne and Andre Tighe.
