Jean Butler’s newly-launched jewellery collection – made in Dublin by Emarno, the same company that makes Paul Costelloe’s jewellery – is very much the famous dancer’s style statement. “I always felt my Irishness was expressed in the jewellery that I wore,” she says.
In keeping with her own natural elegance and poise, the pieces are feminine and graceful. They include a silver locket, a triple crystal-stacked ring with vintage beading (below) – which is based on her own engagement ring – and a twisted silver bracelet with fine shamrock buds.
Prices range from €39 for silver petal earrings to €120 for a silver pendant with crystal details. The jewellery goes on sale in Ireland from the end of this month. For stockists, tel: 01-6788440, or see jeanbutlerjewellery.com.
