DUBLIN: Final weekend of East Wall Road bridge works this Saturday from 1.10am. Northside DART and Drogheda suburban services will operate a limited timetable, with bus transfers between Tara Street and Clontarf Road. Southside DART normal. Belfast Enterprise will have full service with bus transfers between Connolly and Drogheda. All bus transfers depart up to 40 minutes earlier than the normal timetable.

Normal services resume on Monday at 4.45am. Special timetables available from stations by phoning 1850 366 222 or at www.irishrail.ie.

Southbound roadworks on Naas Road, N7, between Rathcoole and Blackchurch Inn from 6.30am to 3.30pm on weekdays. Lane restrictions daily - expect long delays going south. Works to finish by Friday, November 14.

The Coombe closed at Coombe Relief Road until next Monday for construction of new manhole. Northbound and southbound traffic diverted via Ardee Street to access Coombe and Meath Street - some delays.

Roadworks daily between Clonee and Lucan from 10am and 6pm until about November 28, including weekends. One-way system with signposted diversion.

Diversion until Christmas at least at Balbriggan Bypass on M1 at Walshstown exit for motorway works. Southbound traffic diverted from southbound overtaking lane 500m north of Walshtown interchange. Northbound traffic follows diversion to rejoin Ballbriggan Bypass, 150m north of Walshtown overbridge. Motorists must slow down. All diversions signposted, with public lighting.

LIMERICK: Dublin Road (N7) between Groody Bridge and Parkway Roundabout reopened. However work still in operation between Groody Bridge and Plassey Road. Substantial part of work between Groody Bridge and Plassey Road will be finished by Friday. Works at Groody Bridge will not be completely finished for another eight months but this will not affect traffic. Minor restrictions may be in place but two inbound and two outbound lanes will be in operation from Friday.

Plassey Park Road at Castletroy between Vistakon Roundabout and intersection with Kilmuarry Road closed until Sunday. Traffic shoulkd use N7.

In Limerick city, road closure and diversions at Verdant Place until Sunday, November 17. Only residential and business access available at Verdant Place. Pedestrian access to Verdant Place not restricted. Local diversions signposted.

Roadworks and temporary lights in place on N21, Limerick to Tralee Road, on Limerick side of Newcastle West. Lights in place from 8am to 7pm on weekdays until about next Tuesday. Expect delays.

WATERFORD: Bridge painting is taking place on the N9 at Dunkitt Railway Bridge near Waterford city with temporary lights in place from 7pm to 7am, Monday to Friday until about November 16.

CAVAN: Resurfacing on the N3, one mile outside Lavey on the Cavan side. Traffic controls until about November 13.

TIPPERARY: Railway bridge on the Thurles Road in Nenagh town is closed until about next Wednesday for pipe laying. Diversions in place. Delays likely.
