NEW MODELS FOR HARLEY:Dublin Harley-Davidson have announced four new models for its 2008 range, including the exciting new water-cooled Buell 1125R superbike.
Leading the way in this Harley line-up is the Rocker, a factory-built custom-designed soft-tail that brings American Chopper hardtail styling to a production Harley.
The new Harley Fatbob brings Fatboy styling into the affordable Dyna range. It has solid wheels, wide tyres, forward foot controls and twin headlamps making it a truly distinctive Harley.
The XR1200 naked retro motorcycle is styled on the legendary Harley-Davidson flat track racer and driven by a new, more powerful air-cooled 1200cc v-twin. Completing the line-up is the impressive Harley 1200 Nightster. It's a factory custom bike that complements the popular Sportster range.
ALL NEW SUZUKI
Suzuki unveiled its all-new 2008 fuel injected RM-Z450 motocross machine at its European press conference in Rome a few weeks ago. This innovative new off-road machine has a Suzuki-designed battery-less electronic fuel injection system which keeps it lightweight in the tough muddy terrain and gives a high performance and great responsiveness in low to mid-range power.
The chassis has also been improved. "With reduced frame rail diameters on tank mounting points, and increased lower tubes, the new chassis offers improved agility with a reduction in weight," according to Suzuki. The tank capacity has been reduced to 6.2 litres, and an improved braking system and suspension makes hurtling over those bumpy, muddied tracks a doddle. Check out www.suzuki.co.uk
