JENNY McGRATH AND Glenn Mullins were married on March 21st in the Blessed Margaret Ball Chapel in Santry, Co Dublin by Fr Tom Kearney. Friends and family joined them afterwards for a reception at Portmarnock Hotel Golf Links.
From Raheny, Jenny is the second youngest of eight children. She spent her teenage years treading the boards with weekly classes at the Gaiety School of Acting and the Betty Ann Norton Theatre School. Later, she studied at the Academy Drama College in London, which led to appearances in a variety of pantomimes, shows and a stint in Fair City . She met Glenn at a party in London in 2003.
Glenn grew up in Firhouse, and is the son of Maureen and Liam Mullins. He studied auctioneering at Ballsbridge College of Business, worked for AOL in Dublin and travelled for six months in South America before meeting Jenny in London, where he also studied drama. The couple now run Gymboree interactive classes in north Dublin for children under the age of five, in creches, church halls and Montessori schools. Glenn also works for a computer software company.
The pair became engaged in September, 2008. In lieu of a best man, Glenn chose to have his younger sister Lia as his “best person”. Lia runs her own dance school and is an international dance champion.
They flew to Australia for a three-week honeymoon, meeting up with friends in Queensland before visiting Noosa, Frasier Island and Sydney. They live in Santry.
