Dublin 6: €2.2mThis pretty redbrick home sits between Rathmines and Ranelagh, just off Dunville Avenue, meaning that the renowned Mortons supermarket - a veritable social hub - will be your local food store.

Number 22 Annesley Park was built in the late 1800s and comprises a livingroom, diningroom and kitchen/familyroom, along with a bathroom, on the split-level ground floor. There are three bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs.

The house is for sale at auction, on September 26th, through Sherry FitzGerald which is quoting an AMV of €2.2 million.

The house is owned by Wendy Vard - one of the three Vard sisters who got a record contract from Sony after a company representative heard them singing at a wedding.

She has refurbished the home - which contains plenty of hand-crafted built-in storage.

The entrance hall has both a stained glass fanlight and round window. The livingroom (pictured left) is decorated in a deep blue and has a wooden fireplace with slate inset.

There are wrought-iron stairs leading from here to a diningroom which has an original cast-iron fireplace.

Beyond this is the kitchen/livingroom with built-in oak units and terracotta tiled floor. In the living area there is an open fireplace and doors leading to the large lawned garden bordered by mature trees and plants.

Upstairs are three double bedrooms, one of which has views over the garden.
