Residential Drogheda site of 64.3 acres to fetch over £12m

The building of the M1 bypass at Drogheda continues to throw up development opportunities

The building of the M1 bypass at Drogheda continues to throw up development opportunities. The latest site to hit the market is 64.3 acres of residential land on the southern side of the Boyne river at Rathmullen, Drogheda. Drogheda-based Sullivan Property Consultants expect to secure between £12 million (#15.24m) and £15 million (#19.05m) for the land, which adjoins Menolly Homes' successful Riverbank development. The site for sale has two separate zonings - just under 14 acres along the boundary of the river are to be retained as open space, while the remainder can be used for housing, with a likely density of 10 to 12 houses per acre.
