In Ballsbridge, the home of writer Polly Devlin, at 67 Waterloo Road, was withdrawn after auction and sold later through joint agents Hamilton Osborne King and Herlihy Auctioneers.

The refurbished house, which has a self-contained flat at ground floor level, was sold for just over the guide price of £750,000. Elsewhere in Dublin 4, David Gill Associates secured £1,320,000 at auction for 78 Northumberland Road, Ballsbridge, a 3,000 sq. ft two-storey over garden level period house.

A three-bedroom terraced mews house at 2 Strand Mews, Lea Road, Sandymount was sold at auction for £371,000 through Bennetts.

Also in Sandymount, 15 Tritonville Avenue, a three-bedroom terraced house, was withdrawn at £200,000 and is under negotiation through Gunne Residential.

In Dublin 2, a four-storey over basement fire-damaged Georgian property at 67 Merrion Square was sold prior to auction for over £1.2m by Harper O'Grady.

South Dublin

A five-bedroom detached house, Aviemore, Kerrymount Avenue, Foxrock, Dublin 18, was withdrawn at £1.97 million by Daphne L Kaye & Associates which sold it later for over £2m.

Also in Foxrock, 31 Knocksinna Park, a four-bedroom bungalow, was sold after auction for £425,000 by Lisney.

A three-bedroom semi-detached house at 7 Trimleston Drive, Booterstown, was withdrawn at £282,000 and sold later for a price in excess of £300,000 by Sherry FitzGerald.

A four-bedroom semi-detached house at 49 The Rise, Mount Merrion was withdrawn at £445,000 and is under negotiation through Sherry FitzGerald.

In Dun Laoghaire, a two-bedroom townhouse at 4 Summerhill Court, Summerhill Road, was sold at a Finnegan Menton auction for £246,000.

A three-bedroom duplex apartment at 2 Vico Rock, Dalkey, fetched £320,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

The same agent is seeking £725,000 for 2 Ardeevin Terrace, Ardeevin Road, Dalkey, a four-bedroom terraced house, following its withdrawal from auction.

In Sandyford, Ashton Lodge, on Kilgobbin Road, a four-bedroom detached house with a two-bed apartment was withdrawn by Hamilton Osborne King, which is quoting £630,000.

In Dublin 12, 88 Drimnagh Road, a four-bedroom bungalow, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is quoting about £200,000.

Dublin 6 and 8

A five-bedroom detached period house at 73 Palmerston Road, Rathmines, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which sold it later for a figure in excess of £900,000.

In Harold's Cross, a four-bedroom end of terrace house at 6 Casimir Road made a strong price of £410,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

In Terenure, a five-bedroom terraced house at 4 Terenure Park was withdrawn at £440,000 by joint agents Douglas Newman Good and Lowe, who are quoting £460,000.

Also in Terenure, 88 Terenure Road West, a three-bedroom detached house, was withdrawn at £330,000 and is under negotiation through Sherry FitzGerald.

A four-bedroom detached house, Thorndale, at 31 Temple Road, Dartry, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £2.5m.

Sherry FitzGerald is seeking £525,000 for 82 Moyne Road, Ranelagh, a three-bedroom mid-terrace house following its withdrawal from auction.

A three-bedroom mid-terrace house at 19 Vernon Street, South Circular Road, Dublin 8, was withdrawn at £263,500 and sold later for a higher figure through Mason Estates.

A four-bedroom detached bungalow, Casa Mare at The Burrow, Portrane, was sold prior to auction for over £200,000 by Flynn & Associates.

In Malahide, Lissadel, on the Swords Road, a four-bedroom bungalow on 3.5 acres was withdrawn by Lisney, which is quoting in the region of £2.75 million.

In Sutton, Lakecrest, a three-bedroom bungalow at 19 Dublin Road, was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Hamilton Osborne King.

A five-bedroom detached house, Elton, at 640 Howth Road, Raheny, was withdrawn at £470,000 and sold later for a higher figure by Sherry FitzGerald.

In Castleknock, Dublin 15, a five-bedroom detached house at 67 Georgian Village was sold prior to auction for over £700,000 through Flynn & Associates.

In Naul, Co Dublin, 76 acres at Lecklintown was auctioned in two lots by Hamilton Osborne King: Lot 1 - 46 acres was withdrawn and quoting £460,000 while Lot 2 comprising 30 acres was withdrawn and the quoting price is £300,000.

In Enniskerry, 30 acres with planning permission for a family house was withdrawn at £600,000 by Banks & Co which is seeking offers in excess of £750,000.

J P & M Doyle fetched £215,000 at auction for 17.5 acres at Bannagroe, Hollywood.

A three-bedroom house on two acres, The Oaks at Ballyknockan, Valleymount, was withdrawn at £330,000 and is under negotiation through Gunne Residential.

In Co Meath, Cornanstown House, a three-bedroom period house on 11 acres at Stackallen, Navan, was sold at auction for £360,000 by Smith Auctioneers.

Near Galway City, the O'Donnellan & Joyce agency sold two houses at auction. A three-bedroom terraced house at Woodquay sold for £126,000 while a four-bedroom semi-detached house at Maunsells Park, Maunsell Road, made £150,000.

In Co Wexford, 4 Tower Court, Westgate, a four-bedroom detached bungalow, was withdrawn by John Keane.

A four-bedroom bungalow on half an acre, Renvyle, at Newtown Road, Wexford, was sold at auction for £175,000 through Kehoe & Associates.
