Planning sought for Liffey island apartment scheme

HEASLON Properties has sought planning permission for a residential development at The Island in the River Liffey at Chapelizod, Dublin 20.duplex units with terraces, roof gardens, external access stairs and 120 surface car-parking spaces. Riverside walkways and fishing stands will be provided on the site, which includes a portion of land on the east bank of the Mill Stream beside the southside of Chapelizod Bridge. Access to the island site will be across the existing bridge of the Mill Stream at Maiden Row.
