DECISION TO GRANT

Location: apartments 117-124 Merrion Grove, Stillorgan Road, Stillorgan, Co Dublin. DUBLIN CITY COUNCIL

Location: 1.3988 hectares (3.45-acre) site at St Pancras Works, Mount Tallant Avenue, Terenure, Dublin 6W. Proposed development: demolish all structures for 152 residential units, three commercial units and a crèche all in seven blocks of two to six storeys above basement car-parking (231 spaces) and 122 cycle spaces. Proposed development: demolish 126 Pembroke Road and two outbuildings for three blocks from four to 15 storeys all over four-level basement. Block 1: nine storeys with offices and café unit. Block 2: four to 15 storeys with offices, nine retail units, cultural unit and 109 apartments. Block 3: six to eight storeys with offices and two retail units. DECISION TO GRANT

Location: former Shell station on Merrion Road/Rock Road, with frontages to Merrion Road/Rock Road and Bellevue Avenue and boundaries with an adjacent burial ground and the rear gardens of properties on Trimleston Avenue and Bellevue Court, Dublin 4. Proposed development: demolish petrol station, and remove underground tanks and plant for 48 apartments (two one-beds, 26 two-beds and 20 three-beds) in a single building. Location: north of Block Eii (reg ref 1127/06) and west of Block 6 (reg ref 3846/06) off Malahide Road adjacent to hotel and apartment buildings at city junction business park, Northern Cross, Malahide Road, Dublin 17. Proposed development: new block (Block 2) of part six and part seven-storey over basement and lower basement for 107 apartments (28 one-beds, 73 two-beds and six three-beds), six retail/office units, 302 car-parking spaces, site works and landscaping. SOUTH DUBLIN

Location: townlands of Finnstown and Adamstown, Lucan, Co Dublin. Proposed development: 374 dwellings (127 houses and 247 apartments), 589 car-parking spaces and site works. Applicant: Castlethorn Construction.

DECISION TO GRANT

Location: Red Cow complex, Naas Road, Dublin 12. Proposed development: demolish exhibition and business centre for six-storey car-park over semi-basement with 1,041 parking bays. New two-storey nightclub adjacent to Red Cow Inn. New hotel and conference building within surface car-parking area to north of hotel. This building will be 17 storeys over basement at the western corner, six-storey over basement along Naas Road and two-storey over basement along Turnpike Road. Hotel and conference building will include a hotel leisure centre at basement level. Hotel accommodation will comprise 310 bedrooms. A covered walkway between the proposed car-park and the main entrance to the new hotel and conference building; revised internal road layout, 14 taxi-parking spaces, landscaping and external light schemes. DECISION TO REFUSE

Location: The Grange, Newcastle Road, Lucan, Co Dublin. Proposed development: 14 two-storey light industrial/warehousing and office units within Blocks E, F & G to south-east of site; 112 four-storey office-based industry/office units within Blocks A, B, C & D to the north, south, south-west and west of site together with two basements (one under Block A with 79 car-parking spaces and one under Block E with 95 spaces); 500 surface car-parking spaces, landscaping and site works. Location: 1.46-hectare site at Weaver's Row, Clonsilla, Dublin 15. Proposed development: demolish three houses for commercial blocks fronting Weavers Row with foodstores and four retail units, and 60 apartments in six three and four-storey blocks with 238 car-parking spaces. Location: Rush and Lusk Railway Station, Effelstown, Rush, Fingal, Co Dublin. Proposed development: demolish five dwellings for 199 car-parking spaces and site works. Applicant: Iarnród Éireann.

DÚN LAOGHAIRE RATHDOWN

Location: 51 & 52 Bray Road, Foxrock, Dublin 18. Proposed development: demolish two dwellings and outbuildings for three to five-storey building with 38 apartments, 55 basement level car-parking spaces, landscaping and site works. Applicant: J & T Kennedy.

Location: Ashwood Farm, Glenamuck Road, Carrickmines, Dublin 18. Proposed development: demolish dwelling and outbuildings for 201 residential units (147 apartments in three six-storey blocks and 54 houses), crèche, 294 car-parking spaces, and site works. Applicant: Glenamuck Developments Ltd.
