WITH few major developments avoiding appeals to An Bord Pleanala, it was no surprise this week when an objection was lodged against the granting of planning permission for a £50 million redevelopment of Stillorgan Shopping Centre. The objection by E. Merrigan was against the proposal to provide an additional 100,000 sq ft of retail space and a multi-storey car park.
In north Dublin, a planning application has been lodged for a 150-bedroom motel with two restaurants, bar and petrol filling station. The applicant is Mr M. McAuley of Balbriggan, Co Dublin.
