Planning permission is being sought to convert the former Brennan's insurance brokerage premises beside the Bank of Ireland at 3 Westmoreland Street, Dublin 2, into a sandwich bar for O'Brien Irish Sandwich Bars. The premises, along with the upper floors of 1 to 3 Westmoreland Street, were bought towards the end of last year for around £3 million (#3.81m) by a private investor. The upstairs offices are let to the Bank of Ireland on a short-term lease at around £200,000 (#253,950) a year. Lisney handled the sale of the entire premises for the bank.
