A development company fronted by Frank Woods is to seek planning permission for a mixed commercial scheme on a 12-acre site at Ennis Road, Limerick. The development will have over 100,000 sq ft of new buildings including a nine-screen cinema with 1,500 seats, a 30,000 sq ft foodstore, retail warehousing, restaurant and food outlets, as well as financial services units. A purpose-built car showroom will be located at the front of the site, where it will replace the existing car sales lot. The high-tech building design, arranged around an extensive surface car-park, will provide an attractive and easily accessible amenity on the north-western end of Limerick city. The five existing entrance points to the site off the Ennis Road will be combined and located into one single traffic intersection. The site has been substantially derelict for over 20 years and is zoned for commercial use in the Limerick City Development Plan.

The joint agents are Chesser Auctioneers and Hamilton Osborne King.
