A Dublin investor has paid in excess of £1 million for the former Weights and Measures office opposite the Westbury Hotel, off Grafton Street, Dublin 2. The two-storey over basement building is likely to be redeveloped for use either as a bar, restaurant, fashion store or jewellers. It has 2,600 sq ft of floor space and a small yard at the rear, which has been used for car-parking. The building, dating from 1880, has frontage on to Harry Street, Balfe Street and Chatham Street. The new owner was advised by Robert Ganly and Keiron Diamond of Ganly Walters.
