Eight more factory premises are to be sold by IDA Ireland as part of its continuing policy of disposal of its investment properties. The eight investments are in Galway, Waterford, Moate, Ballymahon, Sligo and Clonshaugh, Dublin. All are occupied and let to established international companies. They are being sold by private treaty and are expected to make from £100,000 to £2 million individually. The sale is being handled by Jones Lang LaSalle which completed the first-phase disposal for IDA Ireland earlier this year for £17 million. Three private investors and one institution bought the investments which will produce yields of 6.5 and 8 per cent. IDA Ireland began its policy of selling properties in 1996 and has disposed of more than 1.6 million sq ft of space for over £50 million to date.
