The Co Wexford developer William Neville and Sons has secured approval for higher densities on its housing lands at Druid Valley, Cherrywood, Loughlinstown, Co Dublin. Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown Co Council has granted permission for 424 apartments and a creche in lieu of 108 previously approved detached and semi-detached houses.

The same council is considering a planning application to develop 143 apartments adjoining Rochestown Lodge Hotel at Rochestown Avenue in Dun Laoghaire. The units will be located in four four-storey blocks with basement car-parking and will involve the demolition of three existing houses.

In Dundrum, An Bord Pleanala has granted permission for 32 two-bedroom and seven one-bedroom apartments with underground car-parking on the site of a school building adjoining St Columbanus School.
