A round-up of this week's other bargains
- MURPHY Sheehy (01-6770316/ 01-202 0642) has a new Italian fabric supplier who is sourcing end of lines from the alpha houses of Missoni, Prada, Armani and Paul Smith. They will be available from Friday in both its Dún Laoghaire and Castle Market shops in D2. All items are one-off and prices start from €15 a metre.
- WATSHAM Bohn Interiors’ summer sale at both stores, Monkstown Village (01-2140741) and 238 Merrion Road (01-2180932) is the real deal with 50 per cent off all items. It has a swish bronze leg console table with blackwood top (above) that is also available in silverwood with a chrome leg. It comes in three sizes: the largest was €2,790 and is now €1,395. And there’s a painted solid walnut dining table with a herringbone top that was €5,350 and is now half that at €2,695.
- RATHWOOD Home, Gift and Garden World (059 9156285) in Tullow, Co Carlow, has some French country style painted furniture that has been reduced by 40 per cent to clear. The 6ft solid pine frame bed with rattan detailing on the head and foot boards was €1,239 and is now €743. The 5ft was €1,119 and is now €671. Delivery is free with purchases over €500 to surrounding counties – Dublin, Wexford and Waterford. Prices exclude mattresses.
- DUBLIN Tile Bathroom Centre (1890 942866) has a bathroom suite which includes an Avon toilet pan, cistern, seat, Avon basin and pedestal, a Nova mono mixer tap and a Spirit back-lit mirror reduced from €699 to €419.
- FIONNULA Moulton of the Moulton Design Company (087 2654537) has an ex-display croc-embossed leather clad circular dining table with a metal pedestal base and lazy Suzan turntable by Fendi Casa. Originally €7,692, it has been discounted by 40 per cent to €4,615.20. There are lacquer frame chairs to match. These were €1,450 each and are now €870 a piece. And there’s a Swarovski crystal chandelier which was €5,995 and is now €3,597.
