Fund reconsiders sale of Cork shopping centre

The Bank of Ireland Pension Fund has apparently had second thoughts about selling Merchants Quay Shopping Centre in Cork

The Bank of Ireland Pension Fund has apparently had second thoughts about selling Merchants Quay Shopping Centre in Cork. Irish Life and the ESB Pension Fund looked closely at the investment, which is valued at £17 million. Ian French of Hamilton Osborne King offered it to a number of institutions at the pension fund's request. Most institutions are reluctant to commit such a substantial amount of money to a single Cork investment.
