In Sandycove, Co Dublin, a distinctive five-bedroom detached house, Ardlea, at 10 Elton Park, was sold at auction for £1.1m (1.39m) through Lisney. Bidding started at £900,000 and two bidders chased it until it was sold under the hammer.

In Dun Laoghaire, a three-bedroom bungalow, The Quest, Tivoli Terrace North, was sold at a Lisney auction for £265,000 (336,480).

Lisney is seeking £560,000 (711,053) for 2 Brookville at 89 Monkstown Road, Monkstown, following its withdrawal from auction at £475,000 (603,125).

A four-bedroom semi-detached bungalow, Granada, Carysfort Road, Dalkey, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is seeking £470,000 (596,76).

A three-storey semi-detached period house at 40 Lansdowne Road, Ballsbridge, has been sold by private treaty for about £1.15m (1.46m) through Bennetts.

The same agent is seeking over £400,000 (507,895) for 2 Oaklands Drive in Sandymount, a four-bedroom semi-detached house following its withdrawal at auction.

Ardmore, a six-bedroom house, at 10 Morehampton Road, Donnybrook, was withdrawn and sold later for about £950,000 (1.20m) by Sherry FitzGerald.

In Dublin 14, 30 Crannagh Road, a four-bedroom house was sold at auction for £570,000 (723,750) by Lisney.

In Clondalkin, Dublin 22, a cottage with commercial potential on Station Road sold at auction for £310,000 (393,618) through Property Partners-Brady.

In Dublin 6, 16 Mount Pleasant Parade, Ranelagh, a three-bedroom house, was withdrawn by Gunne Residential which is seeking £350,000 (444,408).

North Dublin

A three-bedroom, Dublin 11, was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £375,000 (476,151).

In Malahide, a four-bedroom house, Treetops, on Swords Road, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald which is seeking £350,000 (444,408).

Provincial

Toole McKay secured over £925,000 (1.17m) after auction for Cultomer House, Drumree, Dunshaughlin, a Georgian house on six acres.

The same agent sold Kings Sawmills, Kilmainham, Kells, on 20 acres, prior to auction for over £180,000 (228,552).

In Co Kildare, Ballysax Lodge at Ballysax, The Curragh, was sold at auction for £210,000 (266,645) by joint agents, Colm McEvoy and Jordan.

In Straffan, a three-bedroom cottage on 0.5 acres was sold at auction for £260,000 (330,131) through Property Partners-Brady.

Coonan is seeking £750,000 (952,303) for St Brigid's Cottage on Hazelhatch Road, Celbridge, after it failed to sell at auction.

J P & M Doyle withdrew an 87-acre farm at Daars North, Sallins, at £820,000 (1.04m).

Still in Co Kildare, First Flyer at Pollardstown, a four-bedroom house made £540,000 (685,658) by Colm McEvoy.

In Co Waterford, O'Shea O'Toole sold a thatched house, Moss Rose, on Dock Road, Dunmore East at auction for £170,000 (215,855).

In Co Wexford, The Old School-house at Kiltennel, Ballymoney, was withdrawn at £250,000 (317,434) and is under negotiation through Warren Estates.

A site of 0.28-acres at Saggart Village in Co Dublin sold at auction for £165,000 (209,506) by J P & M Doyle.

In Dublin 6, two shop units at 1, 1a and 1b Rathgar Road, were withdrawn at £525,000 (666,612) now under negotiation through Lowe &Associates.

Clarke Auctioneers sold Kanes on Main Street, Ashford, Co Wicklow, after auction for over £190,000 (241,250).

Two Section 23 sites on North Quay, New Ross, Co Wexford, were withdrawn by John W Corish which is now quoting £400,000 (507,895) for lot 1 and £600,000 (761,842) for lot 2.

In Co Kildare, 2 Ralph Square, Leixlip, was withdrawn at £210,000 (266,645) and sold later for higher, through Coonan.

In Co Meath, a 15-acre site on Bridge Street, Ashbourne, was withdrawn by joint agents Dillon and Ronald Duff at £1.5m (€1.9m) and is under negotiation.

Joint agents Murtagh Brothers and James B McDonnell withdrew Gillerans public house, Harbour Street, Mullingar, now guiding over £1.5m (1.9m).

In Co Donegal, Sherry FitzGerald Rainey is seeking £575,000 (730,099) for a retail investment at Pearse Road, Letterkenny, following its withdrawal from auction.
