ONE of Dublin's oldest newsagents, Fitzpatricks, at 4 Lower Leeson Street, was sold at auction last Thursday for £605,000. Gunne had been quoting a pre-auction guide price of £350,000 for the Georgian building and the business. The ground floor shop has a 673 square feet and there is a separate basement coffee shop. There are two-bedroom apartments on each of the three upper floors.
