A silver wine funnel, described as “possibly by Joseph Johns of Limerick circa 1745”, €1,000 (€1,200-€1,800); a silver dish ring (potato ring) by William Egan of Cork, hallmarked 1916 Dublin, €770 (€500-€700); a George III Irish silver fish server made in Dublin 1820 by John Sherwin, €800 (€800-€1,200).

Wednesday, October 4th Bloomsbury Auctions London. A Chinese 1970 propaganda poster celebrating the 1916 Easter Rising and Chairman Mao’s Communist Party sold to a telephone bidder for £1,984 (£ 1,000-£1,500).
