French teenage fashion group Morgan has paid a premium of £250,000 for Pound City shop at 44 Henry Street, Dublin 2. The fashion group, which operates on a concession basis in Ireland and the UK, also has a store in Wicklow Street. The new outlet will have 1,500 sq ft at street level and storage space at other levels. The basement is sub-let to Oasis at £7,500 a year, a rent which is shortly to be reviewed. The assignment of the lease has yet to be approved by the landlords, Norwich Union. Morgan is also to rent 1,800 sq ft at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, which is to open next October in west Dublin. The company will be paying a rent of slightly over £100,000.
