JOHN Clohessy's group of Eight to Twelve convenience stores has paid about £650,000 for the newly developed Carpenterstown Neighbourhood Centre near Castleknock, Dublin 15. A Spar outlet is to be opened in a 2,700-square-foot unit, while two of the adjoining 900-square-foot shops have been sold to a pharmacy and a fast-food retailer. A third unit has been let to a video operator, leaving one store still on the market with agents Hamilton Osborne King.
