Irish horseracing fans heading for Cheltenham later this month could do worse than divert some of their spare cash into a stylish new apartment development under way not far from the race course. Knight Frank is handling sales of the 32 apartments in Wellington Place, where one-bedroom units are selling from £109,950 sterling. Two-bedroom apartments with two bathrooms are available from £127,950, while similar apartments with studies are making £189,950 to £212,500.

From the outside, Wellington Place is a recreation of an old Priory Parade mansion once visited by the Duke of Wellington but demolished in the 1960s.
