Capel Developments has applied for planning permission for a business park at the Red Cow roundabout junction of the M50/N7

Capel Developments has applied for planning permission for a business park at the Red Cow roundabout junction of the M50/N7. The proposal describes the office accommodation as suitable for, among other things, "data processing, software development, information technology, technical and consulting".

The two five and six-storey blocks will have 30,000 sq m of offices and 21,673 sq m of car-parking and internal courtyards. They will be linked to a central tower housing cafe, restaurant and creche.

According to the application, tenants should be office-based industries, including, in addition to those mentioned above, commercial laboratories/healthcare, research and development, publishing and tele-marketing.

The development will have an entrance from Holly Road. Off-peak, the airport is a 20-minute run while the N7 provides access to Cork and Limerick and, via the M9, to Waterford. The Galway road, the M6, is off the M50.
