An attractive redevelopment opportunity will arise in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, on March 4th when M & K Doyle's residential newsagents is offered for sale by auction through the Gunne agency. The shop dating from 1838, is one of the oldest in the village. Gunne is quoting a guideline price of £400,000 for the singlestorey premises, which have a frontage of 68 feet on to Main Street and 27 feet of frontage on to Church Avenue. Blanchardstown is one of the fastest growing Dublin suburbs with a rising population and a thriving business sector, which has been greatly helped by the opening of the new town centre. Meanwhile, Gunne expects to secure about £450,000 for another newsagents, Hylands, at 47 Suir Road, Kilmainham, Dublin 8, which is to be auctioned on March 3rd. The business had a turnover of £1.2 million last year.
